Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Liam Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lae Praye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lae Praye is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Liam Colt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lae Praye! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Praye looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Praye should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Praye tries to keep at a distance but Colt has taken the fight into the clinch. Praye goes for a takedown attempt but Colt pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Praye thows a body shot but no joy. Praye looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Colt being controlled here, momentarily. Praye is pushing down on Colt's leg trying to pass to half guard. Colt is fighting to maintain full guard but Praye has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Praye prevents Colt from improving his position. Colt is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Praye pulls his head out easily. Colt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Praye blocks the strikes from Colt.
Praye wants to pass to mount but Colt is defending the position. Colt is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Praye jumps into side control! Colt wants to control but Praye postures up. Praye controls the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Colt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Praye paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Praye shoots in and bounces Colt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Praye slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Colt is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Colt looking to hit a scissor sweep but Praye is one step ahead there. Praye is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Praye stopping the sweep attempt from Colt. Praye controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Colt not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

I looks like Praye might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Colt looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Praye controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Colt looking to control.

Despite being in the dominant position, Lae Praye just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Colt with a poor takedown and Praye counters with a nice double leg into guard. Colt is breathing heavily. Praye stays in close to Colt's body and controls the position. Praye stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Colt swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lae Praye dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Colt is looking to slow Praye down with leg kicks. Colt moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Praye shoots for a double leg takedown but Colt sprawls well. He's pushed Praye's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Colt wants to clinch but Praye slips to the side so Praye counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Praye is stalling in the full guard. Colt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Colt wants to sweep but no luck. Praye controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Colt is trying to keep Praye in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Praye controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Praye must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Praye trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Colt manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Colt being controlled here momentarily. Colt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Praye swivels though and keeps the full guard. Colt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Colt trying to control the position from guard on top but Praye is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Colt wants to pass the guard but Praye is keeping the position. Praye looking to hit a scissor sweep but Colt is one step ahead there. Colt looking to pass the guard. Praye really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Colt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Praye can't keep his opponent in guard - Colt advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Praye is doing well to control the position and prevent Colt from advancing to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colt wants to control but Praye is keeping him busy. Praye trying to control but Colt postures up.
Praye gets back to full guard.
Praye is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Colt throwing strikes but missing. Praye has Colt pulled in close to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Despite being in the dominant position, Lae Praye just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Praye displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Colt tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Praye shoots in and drives through. Colt sprawls well. Praye drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Colt is letting Praye control him for a moment. Colt is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Praye staying calm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lae Praye showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Lae Praye has got the better of the ground game so far. Colt keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
