Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Fight Song. Rodriguez has chosen Anxiety as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Big Mac has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big Mac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac misses with a few strikes there.
Mac misses the shot to the body.
Rodriguez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mac fails to land the takedown.
Mac swings for the body but Rodriguez moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mac looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rodriguez pushes Mac up against the cage in a clinch.
Mac jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rodriguez walks away with a smile on his face. Mac gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rodriguez avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rodriguez lands a big uppercut and Mac crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mac looks OK. Rodriguez waves Mac back to his feet!
It looks like Big Mac has been cut.
Mac looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rodriguez is fending him off so far but Mac persists. Nope, Rodriguez circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Mac. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mac closes the distance looking to clinch
and Rodriguez goes for a counter takedown and lands it with interest - it's knocked his opponent senseless! It looks like Rodriguez 's shoulder did the damage as the two fighters hit the mat.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Eddie Rodriguez!
