The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
waters tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
waters misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A telegraphed right hand from waters misses the target.
waters getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ward looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? waters is fending him off so far but Ward persists. Nope, waters circles away and we're back to standing.
waters lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ward doesn't manage to clinch there - waters circles away.
waters misses with the combination.
waters thows a left - swing and a miss!
waters keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ward.
Ward fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but waters avoids it really well and circles away.
Ward fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arturo Ward. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts waters, as that shot connected.

waters takes a swing at Ward's ribcage but misses.
waters tries to bum rush Ward with a series of wild strikes but Ward uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ward ducks under a wild hook from waters.
Ward takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
waters scores with a shot to the body.
Ward is breathing heavily.
waters cracks a nice hook into Ward's ribs.
waters keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ward is rocked!
waters lands with a right and another and another! Ward is in big trouble! waters lands again and this time it's lights out for Ward! A quality knockout there for waters.
