Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mari Ore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ore was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jones would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Ore misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ore looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ore looks gassed!
Ore uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jones.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ore fails with the takedown.
Jack Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mari Ore.
Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jones throws a series of punches but Ore avoids them all with ease.
Jack Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ore drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Ore drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ore jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

and Jones counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jones.
Ore jumps guard but Jones stands there with Ore around his waist. Ore gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ore changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jones fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ore fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones is looking to chop away at Ore's legs.

Ore shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Jones is squirming around, avoiding Ore's attempts to control the action.

Ore is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jones can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Jones tries to hold on but Ore pushes him away.

Ore goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jones turns into him and now he's in Ore's guard.
Jones postures up in Ore's guard and throws a big left but Ore blocks it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ore has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jones doesn't defend quickly enough and Ore has managed to lock this one up! Can Jones escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ore on a fantastic submission victory.
