Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Smyth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and LeMac Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Red has chosen shimmy she wobble as his entrance music. Josh Smyth has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Smyth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, LeMac Red! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Red fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smyth, pushing him back against the cage. Red throws an elbow but it misses.
Red taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Red lands on the inside with an uppercut. Red taking a breather. Smyth drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Red pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Red gets a clinch. Smyth takes an elbow to the temple. Red breaks the clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Red. Red rushes Smyth and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Red lands a shoulder strike. Red lands with a light punch inside. Smyth has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Red is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Red breaks the clinch.
Smyth shoots in and drives through. Red sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Smyth. That's going to take a lot out of him. Red slaps away a takedown attempt from Smyth, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Red drops Smyth with a beautiful combination! Smyth stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Red is looking for the KO!
Smyth is rocked!
It looks like Josh Smyth has been cut. Smyth is breathing heavily. Red misses with a wild combination.
Smyth chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Red can pounce on him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Red pushes Smyth up against the cage in a clinch. Red is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Red scores with a nice hook to the head. Red scores with a nice hook to the head. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Red creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Knees to the body from Red.
Red's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Smyth tries to clinch but fails miserably and Red counters with a nice double leg into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Red controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Smyth is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Red must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Smyth is working an open guard so Red takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Red lands with a nice combination. Smyth backs away looking to recover. Red closes the distance and clinches. Red manages to break the clinch.
A punch combination from Red misses. Red closes the distance and pushes Smyth back into the cage. Red pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Red darts in and clinches Smyth up against the cage. Red escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Red connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Red throws a head kick but Smyth moves out of range.
Red rushes Smyth and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Red lands a damaging elbow. Red breaks from the clinch.
Red lands a left and a right that send Smyth crashing to the mat, dazed. Red thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Whack! Red lands a heavy head kick that drops Smyth. The ref tackles Red to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Smyth was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). LeMac Red!
