Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Al Wuzz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wuzz comes into the arena with Lützenkirchen - Cairo on Acid blaring out of the sound system. Franklin has chosen Under the Knife - Rise Against as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Wuzz shoots in but no luck this time.
Al Wuzz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Franklin gets the takedown into side control.
Wuzz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Franklin wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Franklin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wuzz, who protects the arm well.

Franklin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wuzz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Franklin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wuzz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Franklin somewhat.

and Franklin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wuzz!

Franklin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wuzz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Franklin has managed to get both his arms back between Wuzz's legs - danger averted.
Wuzz is breathing heavily.
Franklin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wuzz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wuzz has escaped and now he's on top!
Wuzz has gone for a leg lock! Franklin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Wuzz's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Franklin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wuzz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A close round but Jamie Franklin will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Franklin counters with a single leg into guard. Wuzz didn't expect that.

Franklin is trying to control Wuzz's posture but Wuzz avoids it.
Wuzz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Franklin has escaped the position, nice work there.
