The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mayhem as he jumps to the side.
Lee misses with a head kick.
Lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Mayhem.
Mayhem displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lee throws out the jab.
Mayhem is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lee looks to land a left hand but Mayhem moved out of range nicely.

Mayhem keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lee dives in and grabs Mayhem's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mayhem pushes down on Lee's head and hops out.
Lee keeps the fight on the outside.
Lee goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mayhem gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lee to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
