Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ezra Pound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pound comes to the cage accompanied by Toots & The Maytals - Pressure Drop. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ezra Pound! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drew Price! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pound looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Price! Pound lands with some strikes. Pound postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Price looks a forlorn figure.
Price is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Pound will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pound lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Pound wants to control the pace but Price is squirming around nicely. Price tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pound landing punches. Pound landing punches. Pound landing shots from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Price is working to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pound sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Price defending well though. Pound takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Price is looking to improve his position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Price throws a right and a left that both miss. Price misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pound.

Price looks gassed! Some wild striking there from Price.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pound, right into the meat.
A slapping body kick lands there for Pound. Pound shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Price is trying to defend but Pound finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pound looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Pound's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pound winds up and cracks Price with a swinging punch to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ezra Pound dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Pound lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Nice shot lands for Price. Price takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Drew Price has been cut. Price moves out of range as Pound throws a body kick.
Price sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Price tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pound swivels and escapes. Pound tries to close the distance and clinch up but Price swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pound plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Price feints and as Pound raises his hands in defense, Price changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pound trying to control the position.
Pound lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Price! Price regains half guard. Price is breathing heavily. Pound is trying to control. Price wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Price is looking to escape. Price avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pound. Pound looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Price trying to control here.
Pound controlling the action here. Price is in trouble now - Pound has advanced to mount! Pound is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Price can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pound with the ground and pound from mount. Pound lands a big shot there that rocks Price but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pound lands a nice shot to the head. Pound breaks from Price's wrist control and lands an elbow. Pound scoring with strikes but Price is staying in there.

Price is trying to get back to full guard. Pound seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Pound throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Still in half guard, Pound seems content to control. Pound not landing any meaningful shots this time. Pound wants to lay and pray for a moment but Price keeps working. Price is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Price shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Pound counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pound trying to control the position from guard on top but Price is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ezra Pound overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pound postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Pound is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Price can do to turn this around? Price is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pound is controlling him. Price looking for a guillotine here but Pound defends easily.

Ezra Pound dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Drew Price's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Price swings for the body but Pound moves out of range.
Pound throws a leg kick which misses Price's front leg but catches the back leg as Price tries to avoid it. Pound buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Drew Price seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Price takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Price blocks a leg kick. Pound throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Price swings for the body but Pound moves out of range.
Price fails with the takedown and Pound counters with a leg kick. Pound clinches with his opponent.
Pound lands an elbow inside. Pound using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Price takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Pound comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Pound stops a takedown attempt from Price.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pound working Price over with knees to the body. Pound unloads a knee to the mid-section. Price lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Pound is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Pound goes for a takedown attempt but Price pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Price throws a lazy right hand but Pound sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A good leg kick by Pound. Pound misses with a hook. Price ducked under it nicely. Pound shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Price is desperately trying to improve his position but Pound has a good base and remains in mount. Pound lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Price hang on? Pound with good strikes from the mount here! Price tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pound can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Price is looking to escape. Price is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Price takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Price sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Price has hold of Pound's hands but Pound slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Drew Price has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pound not landing any meaningful shots this time. Pound perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Price looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Price wants to get back to full guard.
