Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, CJ Spiller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Apachi Hopachi! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hopachi doesn't manage to clinch there - Spiller circles away.
Spiller has a takedown stuffed. Hopachi fails with an attempt to clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hopachi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Spiller fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Hopachi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Spiller moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hopachi tries to clinch but Spiller moves out of range. Apachi Hopachi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hopachi tries to clinch there but Spiller circles away.

Spiller tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hopachi just stands there and leans against the cage. Hopachi blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Hopachi misses with a knee to the head. Spiller jumps guard but Hopachi stands there with Spiller around his waist. Spiller gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hopachi gets caught flat footed, as Spiller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Spiller controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hopachi is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Spiller is controlling him. Spiller is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Spiller trying to control the position from guard on top but Hopachi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that CJ Spiller will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Apachi Hopachi's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Spiller shoots in but Hopachi avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hopachi is looking to clinch but Spiller is avoiding it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Spiller can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hopachi is looking to escape. Hopachi tries to hold on but Spiller pushes him away. Spiller trying to control but Hopachi is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hopachi working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spiller controlling from the full mount. Spiller trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The referee stands the fighters back up. CJ Spiller just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Spiller tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hopachi swivels and escapes.

Hopachi pushes Spiller back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Hopachi goes for a takedown attempt but Spiller pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Spiller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spiller controlling the position easily from mount. Spiller trying to control but Hopachi is having none of it. Spiller sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to CJ Spiller. I think Spiller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
