Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clarke comes into a darkened arena with his song building. weightless kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nathan Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zack Clarke! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clarke. Bell fails to land the takedown. Bell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clarke as he jumps to the side. Nathan Bell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice combination there by Clarke.
Clarke looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bell is fending him off so far but Clarke persists. Nope, Bell circles away and we're back to standing. Clarke misses with a combination
and Clarke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Clarke closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bell trying to remain calm as Clarke controls from the top position. Clarke is looking to take a break and control but Bell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. A lull in the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarke lands a nice forearm strike. Bell on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bell tries to get out of the position. Clarke wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bell keeps working. Bell is looking to reverse the position. Clarke trying to control the position but Bell is working away. Clarke stands up and beckons Bell to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Clarke misses with a double jab
and Bell moves into the clinch. Bell lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bell winds up and cracks Clarke with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bell wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Clarke uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Bell stands up from guard. Let's bang! Clarke tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bell is looking to clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Clarke looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Clarke scores with a jab. Bell acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Bell misses. Clarke throws a body kick that misses. Clarke misses with a head kick.
Bell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Clarke wants to clinch but Bell slips to the side and Bell counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bell. Bell stops Clarke from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clarke looks gassed! Bell trying to stand up but can't free himself from Clarke's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bell prevents Clarke from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bell gets to his feet. Clarke looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Bell gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Bell manages to break the clinch.

so Clarke counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Clarke gets to his feet - Bell follows without any prompting. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Clarke shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Clarke in particular looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Zack Clarke will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Bell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bell shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Clarke counters with a takedown into side control. Clarke stands up and beckons Bell to his feet. Bell with a lazy takedown attempt and Clarke connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Clarke lands with an overhand left. Clarke throws a head kick that misses. Clarke works over Bell's head and body with a nice combination. Clarke fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Bell counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Clarke's guard now. Bell stands up from Clarke's guard - Bell perhaps looking for a knockout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bell avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Clarke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bell ducks right into an uppercut from Clarke. Bell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bell doesn't succeed with the takedown and Clarke counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan Bell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bell can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Clarke controls the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clarke trying to control but Bell is working from the bottom. Clarke wants to pass the guard but Bell is keeping the position. Clarke wants to control from the top but Bell keeps moving. Clarke might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bell kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bell misses with a takedown attempt and Clarke counters with a series of strikes. Bell will be more careful next time no doubt. Clarke avoids a punch combination nicely.

Clarke shoots and misses and Bell decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Clarke's guard. Clarke kicks Bell off and gets to his feet. Bell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Clarke is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Clarke seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Clarke is working Bell over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zack Clarke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Bell shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Clarke pinned against the cage. Clarke gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Clarke throws a series of punches but Bell avoids them all with ease. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell avoids a kick to the body.
Clarke scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Clarke throws a combination that misses and Bell counters with a series of strikes. Clarke will be more careful next time no doubt. Clarke throws a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarke shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bell as he avoids it easily. Clarke throws a series of strikes that have Bell backpedaling.

He catches Clarke napping and manages to drive through into side control! Clarke is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Bell working the head and body with strikes. Bell working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Bell with the ground and pound but Clarke uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clarke is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bell is controlling him. Clarke kicks Bell off and gets to his feet. Clarke shoots in but Bell avoids the takedown attempt easily. Clarke looks to land a combination. Bell sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Bell lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bell. Excellent takedown into side control there by Clarke. Clarke wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bell keeps working. Nathan Bell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Zack Clarke is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Clarke decides to take the fight back to the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Nathan Bell showed his dominance in that final round. I think Clarke has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
