Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Koz Kozma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jon jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jon jones has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kozma's hands.
Some wild striking there from jones.

Kozma closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming jones to the mat! jones manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kozma wants to get up but he can't break jones's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kozma gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

It looks like Koz Kozma has been cut.
jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kozma is on the wrong end of a nice combination from jones.

Kozma shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kozma showed some decent athleticism there.
jones is in trouble now - Kozma has advanced to mount!

Kozma throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for jones because Kozma loaded up on that one.

Kozma stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
jones throws a series of punches but Kozma moves out of range.

jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

jones wants to break free but Kozma has control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kozma scores a nice knee to the body.
Kozma jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as jones walks away with a smile on his face. Kozma gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kozma shoots in and bounces jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kozma is looking to stand up but jones won't let him.

That was a close round but I would say that Koz Kozma will probably get the nod.

jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
jones connects with a jab.
Kozma tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but jones swivels and escapes.

Kozma is looking to take a break and control but jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

You get the feeling that jones really doesn't like being in this position too much.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kozma can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as jones is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
jones is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Poor strikes thrown by Kozma there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Kozma gets in close and instigates a clinch.
jones is trying to break the clinch but Kozma has him pressed against the cage.

jones prevents the takedown attempt.
Kozma tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. jones smiles and moves away.

Kozma closes the distance and pushes jones back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kozma wants to sweep but no luck.
jones missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Kozma seems keen to control jones's posture.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
jones lands a couple of digs.
Kozma is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst jones is controlling him.

jones is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kozma is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kozma has escaped and now he's on top!
Kozma stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Kozma thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Kozma is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for jones!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kozma lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kozma, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
