PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Noxious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grant comes into the arena with Beanie (Mack B****) blaring out of the sound system. Bob Noxious told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Grant shoots in looking for a takedown. Noxious tries to sprawl out of it but Grant keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Noxious manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A decent looking cross lands there for Noxious.
A nice inside leg kick there by Grant. That's going to slow Noxious down.
Grant loads up on a big right hand but Noxious slips the punch.

Grant shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Noxious manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Grant is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Noxious can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Grant, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
