Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Burdon Ambler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burdon Ambler had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Burdon Ambler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Burdon Ambler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sub Rage!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ambler leaves Rage with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ambler tries for a takedown but Rage circles away easily
and Rage counters with a single leg into guard. Ambler didn't expect that.
Rage drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ambler looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ambler looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ambler!
Ambler is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rage is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ambler thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Rage manages to get back to half guard.
Rage controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Ambler wants to free his trapped foot but Rage is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rage looking for submissions off his back.
Rage wants to control but Ambler is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Ambler is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Rage is trying to control but can't.
Ambler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rage on the ground.
Rage is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ambler's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ambler's back!
Rage is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ambler knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ambler for a finish.
Ambler can't escape the position.
Ambler is trying to stand back up.
Rage patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Ambler trying to control the hands but Rage breaks the grip.
Rage working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Ambler is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Rage has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Ambler taps out!
