Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willie Wonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fullsize Mirror (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mirror has chosen Ordinary Guy--- Blue Scholars as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fullsize Mirror!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirror misses with a series of wild punches.
Mirror looks to score with a jab to the body but Wonka is just out of range.
Mirror throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A slow jab from Mirror misses its intended target.
Mirror ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wonka moves away.
Mirror misses with a double jab.
Mirror swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wonka moves out of range of the strikes.
Mirror tries to bum rush Wonka with a series of wild strikes but Wonka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wonka throws a right and a left that Mirror avoids nicely.
Wonka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mirror.
Mirror lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wonka circles away quickly and effectively.

and Wonka counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mirror swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Wonka counters with a nice uppercut.
Wonka throws a hook but Mirror blocks it.
Wonka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mirror.
Mirror throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wonka counters with a straight right hand.

and Wonka counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mirror's guard now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wonka trying to control but Mirror is working from the bottom.
Wonka keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mirror's head.
Wonka pushes down on Mirror's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Wonka content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Mirror manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Mirror misses with a double jab
and Wonka counters with a head kick.

Mirror swinging wildly here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mirror takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Mirror throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wonka.
Fullsize Mirror seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Mirror throws a lazy right hand but Wonka sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Fullsize Mirror seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Wonka counters with a lovely shot to the body.
No joy there for Wonka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wonka closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mirror throws a nice looking combination but Wonka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Wonka counters with a good low kick that Mirror was not able to check.

Wonka gets the takedown into side control.
Mirror tries to bench press Wonka off him but Wonka keeps the position.

Wonka is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mirror knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fullsize Mirror showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A looping hook to the body misses from Mirror. Wonka does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mirror throws a looping overhand right but Wonka ducks down to avoid it.
Mirror takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Wonka with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mirror to score with a decent uppercut.
Mirror bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mirror throws a looping overhand right but Wonka ducks down to avoid it.
Mirror throws out a loose jab but Wonka uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wonka takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Mirror throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wonka trying to mount his opponent but Mirror defends it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Mirror blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wonka.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mirror throws a sloppy body shot
and Wonka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wonka fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mirror checks it well.
Mirror misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Wonka counters with a two punch combo.
Wonka slips a jab from Mirror.
Wonka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mirror.
A swing and a miss from Mirror.
Mirror shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mirror looks to land a combination but Wonka avoids it well.
Mirror will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Mirror looks to land a left hand but Wonka moved out of range nicely.
Wonka uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mirror.
Wonka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Wonka slips under a jab from Mirror.
Wonka uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mirror.
Mirror fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wonka manages to avoid it.
Mirror misses with the combination.
Horrible takedown by Wonka or perhaps it was just good defense by Mirror which made him look bad.

Mirror connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wonka. Wonka circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

The fighters circling - Mirror throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mirror misses with an uppercut. Wonka saw that one coming.

Mirror throws a shot from downtown. Wonka moves away and avoids it.
Mirror swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wonka counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mirror is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted.
Mirror swings away with a body shot that misses
and Wonka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wonka clobbers Mirror with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mirror lands with a right hand.

Wonka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wonka wants to control from the top but Mirror keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Mirror swings away with a body shot that misses
and Wonka connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wonka just misses with a punch to the body.

Wonka feints and as Mirror raises his hands in defense, Wonka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

Mirror controls Wonka momentarily but Wonka frees himself.
Wonka with a flurry of punches that miss.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mirror fails to land with a series of punches.
Mirror misses with a double jab
and Wonka counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Wonka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mirror.
Mirror throws a hook but Wonka blocks it.
Mirror falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wonka counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wonka avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mirror missing with a left hand there. Wonka was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Fullsize Mirror is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wonka wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mirror slaps away a takedown attempt from Wonka, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mirror swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wonka counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wonka bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mirror's head backwards.
Mirror misses with an uppercut. Wonka saw that one coming.
Mirror is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wonka.

Wonka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wonka working for a guillotine from mount but Mirror is in no mood to give up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Willie Wonka showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Wonka has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
