Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Kouser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Collie Buddz - Come Around as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Kouser! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Jones! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Kouser is just out of range. Jones looks for a takedown but Kouser sprawls well. Jones tries to score with a low kick but Kouser moves his leg out of the way. Jones misses with a body kick. Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kouser sprawls well. Kouser wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones misses with a body kick. Steve Kouser is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kouser swivels and escapes. Steve Kouser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Jones. Jones takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Kouser. A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Kouser does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jones throws a sloppy body shot
and Kouser counters with a right hand to the body. Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kouser counters with a left to the body. Jones throws a combination that misses and Kouser counters with a good, hard body kick but Jones shrugs it off. Kouser dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt and Kouser counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Kouser dominated that round. That's time! Kouser's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kouser scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Jones with a poor takedown and Kouser counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jones is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kouser is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jones. Decent striking displayed by Kouser there. Jones fails with the takedown and Kouser counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Steve Kouser is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones misses with a takedown and Kouser cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Steve Kouser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Jones. Jones is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kouser connects with a body shot. Kouser swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.

Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kouser is looking to wear down Jones with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Jones shoots and misses and Kouser counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jones throws a lazy head kick and Kouser counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kouser makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kouser connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kouser connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones throws a combination that misses and Kouser counters with a left and a right... And another left! Jones is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Kouser!
