Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan JONES (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevin James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan JONES! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Trevin James! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. JONES defends it nicely. James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. JONES tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag JONES to the ground. JONES escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. James slips a jab and a cross from JONES.
JONES slaps away a takedown attempt from James, before circling back to the center of the mat. Dan JONES has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevin James. JONES rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily. James misses with a takedown attempt - JONES sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. JONES scores with a body shot.
Trevin James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice takedown defense from JONES. No joy for James on that attempt. James looks gassed! JONES closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Trevin James has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! JONES throws a one two combo.
A left lands for JONES. JONES fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. JONES stuns James with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. James doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. James drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. JONES waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract James. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped James to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
JONES gets to his feet. James looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! JONES drops James with a left right combo! JONES follows him down to the ground into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! James looks to move to half guard but instead JONES has passed into mount! Damn! James is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
JONES is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! James takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. JONES with a body punch. A glancing blow. JONES is looking to wear down James with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. JONES cracks James with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. JONES cracks James with a right hand to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. JONES misses with the combination.
JONES lands with a nice combination. James backs away looking to recover. JONES throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
James shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with JONES but JONES pushes him off and we're back to square one. JONES lands with a cross. JONES lands a jab-cross combination. James takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by JONES!

JONES scores with a one two! James had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. James moves away from the strike by JONES.
That's three minutes gone in the round. JONES cracks James with an open hand slap. James closes the distance and clinches up with JONES, looking for a takedown. James pushes JONES against the cage but JONES circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A left and a right from JONES both land. Nice combination. JONES looks to land a right hand but James moved out of range. JONES misses with a wild body shot. James shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. JONES stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and JONES wants it to stay on the feet. JONES misses with a few strikes there.
JONES ducks down and throws a hook to the body but James moves away. JONES defends well against a solid takedown attempt from James. James misses with a takedown attempt - JONES sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. JONES lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's four minutes gone in the round. JONES looks to land a right hand but James moved out of range. James closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming JONES to the mat! JONES manages to get full guard. JONES throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. JONES doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells James's corner. There ya go! There ya go! JONES has his feet on James's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. JONES fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! James moves in looking to clinch but JONES pushes him off. A jab from JONES does it's job there. JONES throws a body punch but James moves out of range. James throws a left and a right that both miss
and JONES connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan JONES dominated that round. The cut man is working on Trevin James's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
JONES scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. James shoots and misses and JONES counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps James thinking. James shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and JONES counters with a left and a right that stings James. James takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. James on the wrong end of a nice hook. JONES connects with a good right hand that stumbles James. James circles away out of range and recomposes himself. JONES scores with a decent looking hook. JONES fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. JONES moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. JONES with a body punch. A glancing blow. JONES fails to land with a series of punches.
James tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. James shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and JONES counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dan JONES has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevin James. James shoots in but doesn't get the takedown enabling JONES to counter with a crisp jab. JONES is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that James can do to turn this around? James misses with a takedown attempt and JONES counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. James tries to clinch up letting JONES counter with a right hand. James fails with the takedown and JONES counters with a straight punch to the midsection. JONES moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Dan JONES is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A combination from JONES does no damage. James walks into a left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. James fails with the takedown and James takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. James looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. JONES looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. JONES pushes James off and gets back to his feet. James fails miserably with a takedown attempt. JONES lands a slapping body shot.
JONES lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as James backs up against the cage.
JONES throws an overhand right that lands on James's shoulder, as James tries to avoid the shot. James wants to clinch up but JONES keeps it at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James looks to land a left hand but JONES moved out of range nicely. JONES is working the combinations to good effect here. James throws a sloppy head kick and JONES moves out of range easily. JONES throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. No joy there for JONES, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

James closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. JONES did well to prevent James getting side control. JONES is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. James looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks JONES with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. James working the head and body with strikes. JONES works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. JONES looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
JONES escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. James gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. James stands up over JONES, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. James working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of JONES's head. James lands a couple of elbows. JONES is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! James has his hands clasped together but JONES extends an breaks James's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by JONES.
