Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Masahura Yakisoba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Suk Mehoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masahura Yakisoba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Suk Mehoff! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yakisoba fails with the takedown. Yakisoba tries to clinch but Mehoff is having none of it. Yakisoba shoots in but Mehoff avoids the takedown attempt easily. Yakisoba avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mehoff keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Masahura Yakisoba. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yakisoba misses with a double jab
and Mehoff counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Yakisoba gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Mehoff to counter with a crisp jab. Yakisoba showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mehoff.

Mehoff is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Yakisoba Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mehoff's back instead. Yakisoba wants to control but Mehoff is keeping busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yakisoba tightening his grip on Mehoff, looking for the choke. Yakisoba keeps control of the position as Mehoff tries to break free.

Yakisoba gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mehoff cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Yakisoba thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. He's hooked one of Yakisoba's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Yakisoba's back! Well, with Mehoff on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Yakisoba is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mehoff doesn't have the hooks in and Yakisoba manages to turn into his guard.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
