Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Dillard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Mangello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillard misses with a series of wild punches.
Mangello throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dillard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mangello sprawls well. Mangello wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dillard gets slowly back to his feet.
Dillard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mangello sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dillard somewhat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That was a close round but I would say that Kirk Dillard will probably get the nod.

Mangello really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dillard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
