Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Dillard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Mangello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kirk Dillard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Mangello! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dillard misses with a series of wild punches.
Mangello throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Dillard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mangello sprawls well. Mangello wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dillard gets slowly back to his feet. Dillard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mangello sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dillard somewhat. Mangello is looking to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dillard swats away the attempt to clinch by Mangello. Dillard tries to keep at a distance but Mangello has taken the fight into the clinch. Mangello slows down the pace here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dillard is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kirk Dillard. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mangello throws a knee to the head but misses.

The fight stays on the outside here - Mangello looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dillard avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dillard is breathing heavily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dillard stops Mangello from getting back to his feet.
Dillard is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Mangello wants to control the position but Dillard says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Dillard passes to full mount! Dillard wants to finish this one by submission but Mangello is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dillard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kirk Dillard will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kirk Dillard's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Mangello tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dillard paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mangello connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Dillard wants to clinch and Mangello counters with a thumping low kick. Mangello tries to clinch but Dillard is having none of it. Mangello drives through and clinches with Dillard against the cage.
Mangello escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mangello tries to clinch but fails miserably and Dillard counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dillard is looking for a kimura but Mangello is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dillard to get the leverage.

Dillard is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mangello tries to get to full guard but Dillard has control of the leg. Dillard stops Mangello from getting back to his feet.

Not really close to a finish though. Mangello is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dillard asserts his dominance and retains side control. Dillard working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dillard goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mangello has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dillard but great work by Mangello.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dillard is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Mangello is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Mangello really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dillard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mangello wants to control the pace but Dillard is squirming around nicely. Dillard bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Mangello is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mangello wants to sweep but no luck. Dillard tries to free his leg and advance position but Mangello is retaining full guard. Mangello looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Dillard drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dillard shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mangello makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mangello throws a front kick that sends Dillard stumbling back into the cage. Dillard misses with a takedown attempt and Mangello counters with a three punch combo that has Dillard backing up. Dillard nods at Mangello to acknowledge the strikes. Mangello doesn't manage to clinch there - Dillard circles away.
Mangello tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dillard swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dillard darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dillard seems to be looking for submissions.

Mangello wants to control but Dillard is keeping busy and won't allow it. Dillard is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Mangello is trying to stand up here but Dillard is controlling him well. Kirk Dillard is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dillard misses with a takedown attempt and Mangello counters with a stiff right hand. Dillard throws a chopping leg kick but Mangello manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Mangello doesn't manage to clinch there - Dillard circles away.

Mangello motions for Dillard to come forward. Mangello throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Tony Mangello has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mangello gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Mangello breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mangello tries to close the distance and clinch but Dillard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! Tony Mangello comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Dillard has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
