Lightyear has chosen Buzz Lightyear of Star Command as his entrance music. Buzz Lightyear has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Brock Lesnar's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesnar scores with a takedown into Lightyear's guard.
Lightyear utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lesnar wants to pass the guard but Lightyear is keeping the position.
Lesnar pushes down on Lightyear's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Lightyear keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lesnar sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lightyear defending well though.
Lightyear is refusing to be controlled, as Lesnar sits in half guard.
Lesnar not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lightyear can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lightyear keeps working.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lightyear sprawls well. Lightyear wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lesnar gets slowly back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A punch lands to the side of Lesnar 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lightyear stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lightyear wants it to stay on the feet.
Lesnar shoots in and drives through. Lightyear sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brock Lesnar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lightyear lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lesnar is breathing heavily.
Lesnar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lightyear tries to avoid it but Lesnar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lightyear to the ground. Lightyear escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lightyear displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lesnar.
Lesnar has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lesnar there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lightyear works over Lesnar's head and body with a nice combination.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lightyear drops Lesnar with a beautiful combination! Lesnar stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lightyear is looking for the KO!

Lesnar is rocked!
Lightyear cracks Lesnar with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Lesnar falls to his knees and Lightyear doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
