Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Walford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Liv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Walford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Stefan Liv!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walford drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Liv avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Liv pulls Walford in to control the position.
Walford loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Walford stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Liv swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Walford avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Liv really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Walford. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Liv keeping full guard, as Walford tries to pass.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Liv trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Walford forces his way into half guard.
Walford looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Walford not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Walford fails with the takedown.
Liv throws out a leg kick but Walford moves out of range and Liv only half commits.
Liv tries to clinch up.
Liv doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Walford counters with a takedown into side control.
Liv looks gassed!
Walford lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Walford is working to tighten is grip on Liv's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Liv has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Walford is really squeezing tight and eventually Liv passes out! Walford breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Tom Walford!
