Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caidal Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Higgins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Higgins will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Caidal Cain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, John Higgins! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Higgins looks to land a combination. Cain sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Caidal Cain has been cut. Higgins moves into the clinch. Cain fails to pull guard.

Cain tries to pull guard but Higgins won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caidal Cain. That's going to take a lot out of him. Higgins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cain closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Higgins did well to prevent Cain getting side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cain with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Higgins tries to get to full guard but Cain has control of the leg. Higgins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cain is working away from the top position though. Cain is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Higgins doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cain. Higgins moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cain is fighting to break Higgins's control of his arms but Higgins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Cain trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Higgins manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Cain looking to hit a scissor sweep but Higgins is one step ahead there. Cain throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Higgins postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cain wants to get back to his feet but Higgins is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Cain looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Higgins passes Cain's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Cain controlling the position well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Higgins missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Higgins thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cain's head. Higgins thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Higgins works his foot free and advances to mount. Cain wants to control but Higgins is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Higgins is in the full mount, landing strikes. Higgins landing shots from mount. Cain can't escape the position.
Higgins lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Cain hang on?
Caidal Cain's cut is getting worse. Cain slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Higgins looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Cain trying to hold on to Higgins's head to control him but Higgins postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Higgins dominated that round. The cut man is working on Caidal Cain's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Cain avoids a punch combination nicely.
Higgins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cain circles away quickly and effectively. Cain rushes Higgins and presses him up against the cage. Higgins tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cain avoids it. Higgins goes for a takedown in the clinch but Cain prevents it.

Cain pulls guard. Cain has his foot on Higgins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Higgins works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cain trying to keep a closed guard but Higgins is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Higgins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cain looking for a guillotine here but Higgins defends easily.
Higgins has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cain is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cain looking for a guillotine here but Higgins defends easily.
Higgins throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Higgins working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Cain's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cain is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Cain is looking for a triangle but Higgins pushes his legs off easily.
Cain looking to hit a scissor sweep but Higgins is one step ahead there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Higgins is looking to work some ground and pound but Cain has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Higgins is sitting in close to Cain's body. Cain has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Higgins is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Higgins is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cain.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Caidal Cain!
