Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew Rush ! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rush displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stone. Stone stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stone wants it to stay on the feet. Stone throws a leg kick but Rush checks it. No luck for Rush with that takedown attempt. Stone swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rush . Stone throws a low kick but it's checked well by Rush . Rush avoids the head kick by Stone.
No joy there for Stone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rush feints and as Stone raises his hands in defense, Rush changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Rush stands and throws Stone's legs to the side, diving into side control. Stone is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Rush has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Stone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rush takes one to the side of the head.
Stone misses with a few strikes there.
Stone throws a right hand that Rush ducks under and follows up with a left that Rush also avoids with ease. Stone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rush is defended easily by Stone. Dan Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Rush . Rush fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stone sprawls well initially but Rush persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Stone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rush on the ground. Rush is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stone has managed to free his arm - good work. Rush looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rush is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stone sees it coming and defends easily. Rush prevents Stone from improving his position. Rush is looking for a kimura but Stone is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rush to get the leverage. Rush seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Stone is trying to stand up here but Rush is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone works his way to full guard. Good work. Stone manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rush manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rush has a closed guard, preventing Stone from standing up. Stone gets to his feet - Rush follows without any prompting. Stone shoots in and drives through. Rush sprawls well. Rush showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stone.
Rush throws a right and a left that both miss. Stone misses the shot to the body. Dan Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone tries to bum rush Rush with a series of wild strikes but Rush uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stone fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rush , pushing him back against the cage. Stone breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rush manages to avoid it. Rush throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stone's waist but Stone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rush off to one side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Stone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stone shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stone showed some decent athleticism there. Stone sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rush defending well though. Stone perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Rush wants to get back to full guard. Stone wants to stand but Rush has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Stone controlling the action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stone tries to stand and escape but Rush is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Stone dominated that round. That's time! Stone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rush is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stone is just riding it out for now. Rush eventually gives up the hold. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stone slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Rush wants to control from the top but Stone keeps moving. Stone wants to sweep but no luck. Stone not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

He pushes Rush off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Stone misses with a body kick. Dan Stone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stone shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rush defends it nicely. Rush walks into a stiff left hand from Stone. Stone moves into range and clinches up with Rush . Stone tries for a takedown but Rush manages to get underhooks.

and Rush counters with a shoot takedown. Stone fights it but they end up in guard. Stone keeping moving, preventing Rush from controlling successfully. Stone tries to land a sweep but no joy. Stone is looking to stand up but Rush isn't so interested in that idea. Rush trying to control the position from guard on top but Stone is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Stone is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Rush jumps guard but Stone stands there with Rush around his waist. Rush gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dan Stone will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Stone forces Rush back against the cage and clinches. Stone tries to break the clinch but Rush is controlling the position. Stone manages to pull guard.
Rush working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Stone looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Rush postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stone is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rush , into his guard. Stone decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rush , up you get! Rush takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Nice defenses there by Rush .

The fight moves into the clinch position. Rush escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stone stuffs the takedown attempt from Rush . Rush gets slowly back to his feet. No luck for Rush with that takedown attempt. Stone lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rush circles away quickly and effectively. Rush ducks right into an uppercut from Stone.
It looks like Andrew Rush has been cut. Stone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rush . Stone throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rush counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Stone's guard now. Stone controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stone wants to stand but Rush is controlling the position. Rush thows a big elbow that misses. Stone is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Stone keeping moving, preventing Rush from controlling successfully. Stone pushes Rush off and gets back to his feet.

The fight stays on the outside here - Stone looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Stone lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rush backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stone throws a right hand that Rush ducks under and follows up with a left that Rush also avoids with ease. Stone lands a head shot.

Stone stalks Rush and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rush 's face. Rush staggers backwards, shaken. Stone throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stone displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rush . Dan Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Rush . Rush slips a jab and a cross from Stone.
Nice body punch from Stone. Stone scores with a one two! Rush had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Dan Stone is winning the standup battle so far. Rush on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rush slips a jab and a cross from Stone.

Andrew Rush has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dan Stone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A punch combination from Stone misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Dan Stone showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stone, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
