The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gacy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie.
Gracie shoots for a takedown but Gacy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gacy slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat.
John Gacy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlson Gracie.
Gacy lands a body shot.

Gracie doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Gacy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gracie's hands.

Gacy looks to land a combination. Gracie sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gacy.
Gacy is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Gacy walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Gracie drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Gacy swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Gracie's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
