The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mclovin throws a push kick but Chips slaps the foot to one side.
Chips tries for a takedown but Mclovin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mclovin throws the kick towards the body but Chips avoids it.
Chips shoots in looking for a takedown. Mclovin tries to sprawl out of it but Chips keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mclovin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck for Chips with that takedown attempt.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Chips crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mclovin - the referee stops the clock and Chips gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mclovin. Chips manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
