Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Uno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Uno! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Richards! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uno getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Richards fails with an attempt to clinch.
Uno shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Uno was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Richards is looking to improve his position but Uno isn't that keen on the idea. Uno looking to control and managing it successfully. Uno avoids the attempt from Richards to control. Uno wants to take his opponent's back but Richards doesn't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richards really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Uno trying to control but Richards is having none of it. Uno avoids the attempt from Richards to control. Uno takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Richards is controlling an arm, preventing Uno from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Uno moves to the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Richards is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Uno landing strikes, looking to finish! Uno controlling the position easily from mount. Richards regains half guard. Richards trying to hold on to Uno's head to control him but Uno postures up.
Uno scoring with strikes to the body and head. Uno controlling the pace. Richards moves into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Uno dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Richards tries for a takedown but Uno circles away easily and Uno counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Uno. Uno lands a couple of digs. Uno trying to control the position from guard on top but Richards is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Uno stopping the sweep attempt from Richards. Richards keeping moving, preventing Uno from controlling successfully.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Chris Uno just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Richards shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Uno counters with a takedown into side control. Richards is being controlled here. Richards gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Richards moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uno avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Uno has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Richards to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Uno is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Richards pulls down on the head and he's put Uno to sleep! This one is all over!
