The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mulligan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Meier.
Mulligan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Meier wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

and Mulligan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mulligan throws a series of punches but Meier avoids them all with ease.

letting Mulligan counter with a right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Tyler Meier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Mulligan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Mulligan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Meier drops down looking for an ankle pick but Mulligan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mulligan darts in trying to clinch

and Meier counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mulligan's guard now.
Mulligan is adopting a defensive guard.

Mulligan kicks Meier off and gets to his feet.

A lazy body kick from Mulligan

and Meier counters with a single leg into guard. Mulligan didn't expect that.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mulligan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Meier is one step ahead there.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tyler Meier will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Mulligan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Meier is controlling him.

Mulligan is trying to stand.
Meier throwing shots but Mulligan is blocking nicely.
Mulligan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Meier is working away from the top position though.
Meier is stalling here. Mulligan is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Meier seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mulligan has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Mulligan swings around for an armbar but Meier sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mulligan's guard.
Meier stays in close to Mulligan's body and controls the position.

Meier lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Meier wants to control from the top but Mulligan keeps moving.
Meier really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Meier thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Meier looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Meier seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Mulligan is trying to stand up here but Meier is controlling him well.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Meier in particular looking to stall.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
