Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Orlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Orlov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ukraine's Glory Has Not Yet Perished. Mack Charles has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mack Charles! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orlov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Orlov misses with a few strikes there.
Orlov closes the distance and clinches up with Charles, looking for a takedown. Orlov pushes Charles against the cage but Charles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Orlov circles away from the clinch attempt.

Orlov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Charles to the mat! Charles manages to get full guard. Charles wants to stand up but Orlov is controlling him. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Charles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Orlov swivels and escapes. Charles shoots and misses and Orlov counters with a series of strikes. Charles will be more careful next time no doubt. Charles looks gassed! Orlov gets a clinch. Charles is working for takedown but Orlov is calmly controlling the position for now. Yuri Orlov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mack Charles. Orlov gets underhooks to prevent Charles's takedown attempt.
Orlov is trying to stall.
Orlov lands a good knee to the midsection. Charles won't want to take too many of those. Orlov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Charles uses from the top position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Orlov is on top in guard.
Orlov passes Charles's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Charles is staying active underneath Orlov, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Orlov stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

"Ole!" shouts Charles as he jumps to the side. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Charles dives in and grabs Orlov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Orlov pushes down on Charles's head and hops out. Charles gets a takedown into half guard. Charles not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Charles misses with a head shot. Orlov uses the momentum to regain guard. Charles chips away with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orlov tries to land a sweep but no joy. Charles lands a couple of elbows. Charles working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Charles postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Charles in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Charles is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Charles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Orlov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Charles throws a big right hand that misses. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Charles's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Charles keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Orlov's head. Charles throwing strikes but missing. Orlov trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Orlov throws a head kick that half lands.
Orlov moves in looking to clinch but Charles pushes him off. Charles shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Orlov but Orlov pushes him off and we're back to square one. Orlov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Orlov looking for a guillotine here but Charles defends easily.
Charles with a flurry of punches that miss. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Orlov looking for a sweep. Not yet Orlov, not yet. Charles is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yuri Orlov dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Charles, into his guard. Charles wants to stand and escape but Orlov is having none of it. Charles throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Orlov is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Charles is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Charles controls Orlov momentarily but Orlov frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mack Charles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Charles keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Orlov's efforts to push away. Charles can't get the takedown.
Charles has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Orlov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Charles changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Orlov fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The fight stays on the outside here - Orlov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Yuri Orlov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Orlov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. No joy there for Charles, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
