Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Orlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Royle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuri Orlov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yuri Orlov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lewis Royle! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orlov misses with a kick to the body.
Orlov leaves Royle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Royle shoots for a takedown but Orlov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Orlov keeps the fight on the outside. Orlov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Royle manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Orlov with a flurry of punches that miss. Orlov wants to control from the top but Royle keeps moving. Orlov drops back looking for a leg! Royle is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Royle manages to kick Orlov off! Orlov jumps back into Royle's guard. Orlov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Royle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Orlov passes easily into side control. Nice work. Orlov tries to score with some ground and pound. Royle controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Orlov tries for a kimura but Royle is defending well. Orlov could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Orlov lands a few punches from side control. Royle can't do much from the bottom here. The ground and pound from Orlov seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Orlov has knee on belly and moves into mount. Orlov has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Royle's face.
Orlov looking to control and managing it successfully. Orlov looking for a guillotine from mount but Royle is having none of it. Orlov is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Orlov moves to take his opponent's back. Royle is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Royle covering up well under a barage of strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Orlov is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Royle defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Royle trying to control the hands but Orlov won't let him. Orlov is landing with strikes from the back. Royle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Orlov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Orlov throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Orlov keeps control of the position as Royle tries to break free.
Orlov is cranking Royle's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Royle! He's tightened the choke and Royle is tapping out!
