Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mariano Castro!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro throws a head kick but Blagg moves out of range.

It looks like Chase Blagg has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Blagg is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Castro manages to get to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Castro counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Castro.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Castro turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Castro manages to end up in side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Blagg lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Castro looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Blagg is defending well. Castro quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Blagg has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Castro celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
