Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Van Damage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Harding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harding is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hit 'em Up. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Damage misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Harding is defended easily by Damage.
Damage lands the left hand.
Harding closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A short left from Damage.
Damage throws an elbow but it misses.
Damage with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Harding has Damage pressed against the cage.
Damage has Harding pressed against the cage, preventing Harding from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Damage gets underhooks to prevent Harding's takedown attempt.
Harding is pressed up against the cage. Damage has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Harding down to the mat. Harding avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Harding shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Damage pinned against the cage. Damage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Van Damage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doug Harding.
Harding shoots in looking for a takedown. Damage tries to sprawl out of it but Harding keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Damage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Harding looks for a takedown but Damage sprawls well.

Harding blocks a jab.
Damage throws a looping overhand right but Harding ducks down to avoid it.
Harding shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Damage as he avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Damage or perhaps it was just good defense by Harding which made him look bad.
Damage stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Damage wants it to stay on the feet.
Harding is looking to clinch but Damage is avoiding it.
Damage tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Harding was well out of range. Poor timing from Damage.
Harding has his takedown stuffed
and Damage counters with a right hand to the body.
Harding looks gassed!
A punch combination from Damage misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Damage lands a body shot.
Harding tries to bum rush Damage with a series of wild strikes but Damage uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Harding defending well as Damage loads up on a big left hand.
Harding tries to move into range but Damage moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Harding gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Damage is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Harding looking to hit a scissor sweep but Damage is one step ahead there.
Damage passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Damage landing strikes.
Damage moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harding on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Damage is staying tight to Harding's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Damage working the ground and pound.
Harding takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Harding wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Damage has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Harding's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Harding is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Damage!
