Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Finn McCool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Deluca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Finn McCool! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Deluca! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCool wants to clinch. McCool fails in his attempt to clinch. Deluca avoids the body shot from McCool.
Deluca shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McCool is looking to sweep but instead, Deluca has passed into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McCool is trying to get back to full guard. Deluca is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Deluca escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deluca takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Deluca is rocked! McCool instigates a clinch. McCool escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McCool is looking to take this fight into the clinch. McCool misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Deluca fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Deluca tries to keep at a distance but McCool has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCool stalling.
McCool lands a nice knee to the body. Deluca dodges an elbow strike from McCool.
McCool lands a right hand that snaps the head of Deluca backwards. Deluca blocks an uppercut.
Deluca blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
McCool is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Deluca wants a takedown.
Deluca is working for takedown but McCool is calmly controlling the position for now. Finn McCool has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Deluca. McCool jumps into guard, dragging Deluca to the mat.
McCool keeping moving, preventing Deluca from controlling successfully. Deluca stands and steps away. McCool gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Deluca looks gassed! McCool misses with the combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCool wants to clinch up but Deluca keeps it at a distance. McCool forces Deluca back against the cage and clinches. McCool tries to stall but Deluca uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
McCool breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McCool throws a head kick that half lands.

McCool throws a head kick that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCool throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Deluca. McCool thows a left - swing and a miss! Deluca uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McCool. A head kick misses from McCool. Deluca shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McCool as he jumps to the side. McCool wants to clinch up but Deluca keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Finn McCool dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
McCool tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Deluca paws at him with a jab and circles away. McCool tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McCool throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. McCool moves into the clinch. Deluca avoiding damage as McCool throws knees to the body.

Deluca fails to pull guard.
McCool lands a body shot. Deluca fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Deluca manages to pull guard.
McCool knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Deluca on the ground. McCool lands a couple of digs. McCool trying to control the position from guard on top but Deluca is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McCool postures up in Deluca's guard and throws a big left but Deluca blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deluca tries to land a sweep but no joy. Deluca is breathing heavily. Deluca scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Deluca is on the wrong end of a nice combination from McCool. McCool with a poor takedown and Deluca counters with a shoot takedown. McCool fights it but they end up in guard. Deluca wants to control from the top but McCool keeps moving. Deluca preventing the sweep. McCool wants to stand up but Deluca is controlling him. McCool will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCool is trying to keep Deluca in close.
Deluca trying to control but McCool is working from the bottom. Deluca is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. McCool connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Deluca momentarily.
Horrible takedown by McCool or perhaps it was just good defense by Deluca which made him look bad. Deluca fails with the takedown and McCool counters with a straight right hand. Finn McCool has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Deluca. McCool tries to clinch but Deluca moves away so Deluca counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Deluca gets to his feet. McCool looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Deluca fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McCool, pushing him back against the cage. McCool prevents the takedown attempt.
McCool can't break the clinch.
Deluca is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Deluca pulls guard. McCool prevents Deluca from getting back to his feet. Deluca seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Deluca uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Deluca misses with a head kick.
McCool closes the distance but Deluca moves to the side and Deluca counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Deluca there. McCool tries to get to full guard but Deluca has control of the leg. Deluca in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. McCool tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Deluca!
