Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shooter McGavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane MacKallister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacKallister has chosen Four Horsemen by Metallica as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane MacKallister!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacKallister looks for a takedown but McGavin sprawls well.
McGavin tries to land a front kick but MacKallister steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
MacKallister ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McGavin moves away.
MacKallister fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Both fighters circling a little - McGavin finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

McGavin lands a big head kick that sends MacKallister tumbling to the mat! McGavin takes a step backwards and waves MacKallister back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Shane MacKallister has been cut.
MacKallister shoots in looking for a takedown. McGavin tries to sprawl out of it but MacKallister keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McGavin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Shooter McGavin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane MacKallister.
MacKallister shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McGavin defends it nicely.

MacKallister closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. McGavin did well to prevent MacKallister getting side control.

McGavin kicks off MacKallister and gets to his feet.
MacKallister throws a shot from downtown. McGavin moves away and avoids it.
McGavin defends well against a solid takedown attempt from MacKallister.

McGavin lands a nice looking kick to the body. MacKallister takes a step back to recover.
McGavin throws a head kick that misses.
MacKallister ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McGavin moves away.
McGavin tries a head kick but it misses.

MacKallister shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
McGavin pushes MacKallister off looking to stand but MacKallister dives back in and keeps control.

MacKallister decides to stand up.

McGavin throws a wild body kick that MacKallister sees coming a mile off.
MacKallister shoots in and drives through. McGavin sprawls well.
MacKallister will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from McGavin.
McGavin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
MacKallister takes a head kick and keeps coming.
McGavin circles away from the clinch attempt.

MacKallister shoots in but McGavin avoids the takedown attempt easily.

MacKallister throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McGavin was covering up waiting for the punch and MacKallister finishes the takedown easily into guard.

MacKallister stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and McGavin has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! MacKallister manages to get his head free but now McGavin has transitioned to an armbar! MacKallister grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from McGavin! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
