Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rakkiat Nongkeeswuit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Vasiliev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasiliev comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hate me now kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rakkiat Nongkeeswuit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oleg Vasiliev! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasiliev avoids the head kick by Nongkeeswuit.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vasiliev tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nongkeeswuit swivels and escapes. Vasiliev blocks a head kick by Nongkeeswuit.

Vasiliev looks for a takedown but Nongkeeswuit sprawls well. Nongkeeswuit gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Vasiliev to score an easy takedown into full guard. Vasiliev tries to free his leg and advance position but Nongkeeswuit is retaining full guard. Vasiliev is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Nongkeeswuit keeping moving, preventing Vasiliev from controlling successfully. Nongkeeswuit wants to stand up but Vasiliev is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vasiliev missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vasiliev looking to sit in guard and control but Nongkeeswuit gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Nongkeeswuit got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vasiliev has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nongkeeswuit has managed to get both his arms back between Vasiliev's legs - danger averted.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nongkeeswuit throws a head kick but Vasiliev moves out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vasiliev won't allow Nongkeeswuit to get back to his feet. Nongkeeswuit pulls Vasiliev in close to his closed guard and prevents Vasiliev from doing any damage or advancing position. Nongkeeswuit is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vasiliev is controlling him. Vasiliev trying to control but Nongkeeswuit is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nongkeeswuit wants to stand up but Vasiliev is controlling him. Vasiliev wants to pass the guard but Nongkeeswuit is keeping the position. Vasiliev thows a big elbow that misses. Vasiliev wants to pass the guard but Nongkeeswuit is keeping the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Vasiliev crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nongkeeswuit - the referee stops the clock and Vasiliev gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nongkeeswuit. Vasiliev manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nongkeeswuit throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Vasiliev's head.
That has opened up Oleg Vasiliev's cut even more. Nongkeeswuit looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vasiliev throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nongkeeswuit's waist but Nongkeeswuit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vasiliev off to one side. Vasiliev takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Nongkeeswuit lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nongkeeswuit lands a high kick!

Nongkeeswuit won't allow Vasiliev to pass to mount. Nongkeeswuit is trying to maintain the position but Vasiliev is very close to passing his half guard. Nongkeeswuit is trying to stand back up but Vasiliev is controlling him

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nongkeeswuit with a lazy takedown attempt so Vasiliev counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Vasiliev trying to control the position from guard on top but Nongkeeswuit is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nongkeeswuit managing to control the position. Nongkeeswuit keeping moving, preventing Vasiliev from controlling successfully. Nongkeeswuit controlling the position. Nongkeeswuit manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Vasiliev fails with a takedown attempt. Rakkiat Nongkeeswuit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oleg Vasiliev. Nongkeeswuit throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Vasiliev circles away from the clinch attempt.

Rakkiat Nongkeeswuit dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Oleg Vasiliev's cut. That's time! Nongkeeswuit's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Nongkeeswuit rushes Vasiliev and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Nongkeeswuit escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vasiliev takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Nongkeeswuit dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vasiliev. That did some damage! Nongkeeswuit goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Oleg Vasiliev's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Oleg Vasiliev's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Rakkiat Nongkeeswuit!
