Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dolly Parton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Hondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parton's entrance music is 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton. A fine choice. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hondo misses the shot to the body.
Hondo throws a right hand that Parton ducks under and follows up with a left that Parton also avoids with ease.
Parton feints and as Hondo raises his hands in defense, Parton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hondo is looking to stand up but Parton isn't so interested in that idea.
Hondo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hondo throws out a loose jab but Parton uses good head movement to avoid it.

Parton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hondo tries to avoid it but Parton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hondo to the ground. Hondo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Parton cracks Hondo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Parton cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Hondo takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hondo wants to stand and escape but Parton is having none of it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Parton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
