Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royce McCuchin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCuchin comes to the cage accompanied by Achilles Last Stand. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCuchin gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Royce McCuchin has been cut.
Hammer fails in his attempt to clinch.
McCuchin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hammer's waist but Hammer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McCuchin off to one side.
McCuchin shoots in but no luck this time.
Hammer has closed the distance and engaged McCuchin in a clinch.
Hammer prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce McCuchin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McCuchin is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Hammer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCuchin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hammer's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

McCuchin won't let Hammer get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Hammer is in a horrible position here. McCuchin smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
McCuchin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McCuchin lands a nice shot to the head.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McCuchin pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McCuchin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
McCuchin cracks Hammer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
McCuchin won't let Hammer get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

A close round but Hans Hammer will probably get the nod.

Hammer cracks McCuchin with an open hand slap.
Hammer tries to bum rush McCuchin with a series of wild strikes but McCuchin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McCuchin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hammer tries to avoid it but McCuchin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hammer to the ground. Hammer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Royce McCuchin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hammer throws a combination. McCuchin tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
No joy there for Hammer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McCuchin is defended easily by Hammer.

McCuchin misses with a low kick as Hammer jumps back.
McCuchin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hammer circles away.
Hammer dips to his left and cracks McCuchin with an uppercut!
McCuchin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hammer swivels and escapes.
Hammer lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jeez, Royce McCuchin's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Royce McCuchin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
