The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaroslavovich lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Matthew backs up against the cage.
Matthew tries to close the distance and clinch but Yaroslavovich swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Matthew closes the distance and pushes Yaroslavovich back into the cage.
Yaroslavovich tries to circle away but Matthew has him pinned against the cage.
Matthew turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Matthew decides to stand back up.
A head kick misses from Matthew.
Nice sprawl there from Yaroslavovich as Matthew shoots in.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Yaroslavovich throws a right hand that Matthew ducks under and follows up with a left that Matthew also avoids with ease.
Yaroslavovich is looking to clinch but Matthew is avoiding it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Yaroslavovich looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Yaroslavovich dives in and grabs Matthew's left leg, looking for a takedown. Matthew pushes down on Yaroslavovich's head and hops out.
Matthew moves into the clinch successfully.
Matthew keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Yaroslavovich's efforts to push away.
Yaroslavovich is working for takedown but Matthew is calmly controlling the position for now.

Yaroslavovich has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Matthew doesn't defend quickly enough and Yaroslavovich has managed to lock this one up! Can Matthew escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Yaroslavovich on a fantastic submission victory.
