The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smiley lands a front kick.
Smiley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Smiley is stalling in the full guard.
Smiley won't allow Hemana to sweep him here.
Smiley gets to his feet - Hemana follows without any prompting.
Hemana looks to land a right hand but Smiley moved out of range.
Hemana lands with an uppercut that bounces Smiley off the cage and back into rage.
Smiley gets the takedown into side control.

Smiley blocks the strikes from Hemana.
Smiley has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hemana is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Smiley yanks on the arm and Hemana is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Smiley.
