Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moses MIx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakob Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Moses MIx has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Moses MIx seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanson ducks straight into an uppercut from MIx and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Hanson manages to regain guard straight away.
Hanson is rocked!
It looks like Jakob Hanson has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hanson wants to sweep here but MIx controlling him for the moment.
Hanson is still in real trouble! Can MIx finish him?
Hanson throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Hanson seems to have recovered his senses.
Hanson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hanson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and MIx defends well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hanson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. MIx defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hanson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. MIx is aware though and is defending well.

MIx wants to get up but he can't break Hanson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

MIx wants to stand but Hanson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Hanson wants to sweep but no luck.
MIx trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hanson's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hanson has his foot on MIx's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. MIx works his way back into a safe position though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
MIx moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Moses MIx is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hanson switches off momentarily and MIx cracks him with a monster right hand! Hanson topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as MIx dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by MIx!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Moses MIx!
