Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Hebert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Banks comes into the arena with Onward To Victory blaring out of the sound system. Hebert is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lose Yourself. Joe Hebert is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vladimir Banks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Hebert! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hebert was covering up waiting for the punch and Banks finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hebert looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Banks stays in close to Hebert's body and controls the position. Banks postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Banks is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Banks works over Hebert with some ground and pound from guard. Banks seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Banks is working Hebert over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hebert can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Banks controls the pace. Banks slips nicely into half guard. Banks has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hebert is desperately trying to improve his position but Banks has a good base and remains in mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banks lands a big shot there that rocks Hebert but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Banks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Banks with the ground and pound from mount. Banks lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Banks working the ground and pound effectively.
Banks controlling his opponent. Banks is in the full mount, landing strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Banks drops a big elbow. That's hurt Hebert! More shots from Banks and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
