The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dick tries for a takedown but Thompson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A solid leg kick lands there for Thompson.
Thompson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thompson throws a series of strikes that have Dick backpedaling.
Thompson throws a leg kick which misses Dick's front leg but catches the back leg as Dick tries to avoid it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Thompson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dick swivels though and keeps the full guard.
