The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Penn.
Pacquiao looks to throw the jab but Penn is out of range.
Pacquiao throws out a loose jab but Penn uses good head movement to avoid it.
Penn has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like PJ Penn has been cut.
Penn avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pacquiao keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Pacquiao drops Penn with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Penn looks back up at him and smiles so Pacquiao waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Penn is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Penn slips a straight right by Pacquiao.
Oh Penn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pacquiao pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Penn loses concentration momentarily and Pacquiao pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Penn crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Pacquiao finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
