Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erik Lehnsherr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabe Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lehnsherr comes to the cage accompanied by Faint. Gabe Daniels will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Erik Lehnsherr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gabe Daniels! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lehnsherr as he avoids it easily. Lehnsherr feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Lehnsherr scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Lehnsherr trying to control but Daniels is working from the bottom. Lehnsherr wants to pass the guard but Daniels is keeping the position. Daniels looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lehnsherr with a nice head shot there. Lehnsherr drops back looking for a leg! Daniels is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Daniels manages to kick Lehnsherr off! Lehnsherr jumps back into Daniels's guard. Daniels working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lehnsherr doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lehnsherr manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Lehnsherr passes easily into side control. Nice work. Daniels is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Lehnsherr is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lehnsherr controlling the position easily from mount. Lehnsherr is working for a guillotine from mount but Daniels frees his head quite easily.
Daniels is working to get back to half guard.
Daniels is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Lehnsherr with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Lehnsherr prevents Daniels from getting the reversal. Daniels looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniels wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Lehnsherr is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Daniels won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Lehnsherr off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Erik Lehnsherr!
