The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Katanec has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sliver regains guard immediately.

Katanec decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Sliver changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Katanec tries to avoid it but Sliver manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Katanec to the ground. Katanec escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Katanec creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sliver sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Katanec jumps guard and drags Sliver to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Sliver has gone for a leg lock! Katanec slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sliver's guard.

Well Katanec has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
