Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryu Nakamura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, CJ Benn!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura has managed to clinch.
Benn pulls Nakamura into guard.

Nakamura has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Benn has momentary wrist control but Nakamura slips an elbow through the middle.
Benn controls Nakamura momentarily but Nakamura frees himself.
Nakamura wants to control from the top but Benn keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nakamura throws a series of punches but Benn moves out of range.
Nakamura tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Benn is able to avoid easily.
Benn dodges the punch combination from Nakamura.
Nakamura moves into the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Nakamura.
Benn tries for a takedown. No joy.
Nakamura wants the takedown. Benn is fighting it off but Nakamura persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Benn's guard against the cage.
Nakamura throws and elbow that misses. Benn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nakamura's guard. Nice move by Benn!
Benn drops back looking for a leg! Nakamura is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nakamura manages to kick Benn off! Benn jumps back into Nakamura's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Benn wants to control from the top but Nakamura keeps moving.

Benn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Benn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Nakamura is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nakamura is trying to control the position but Benn postures up.
Benn with a flurry of punches that miss.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nakamura throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Benn.
Nakamura misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nakamura instigates a clinch.
Nakamura misses with some punches.
Nakamura breaks the clinch.
Benn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Benn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nakamura swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Benn shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Benn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nakamura swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Benn closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Benn lands in his opponent's guard.
Benn wants to pass the guard but Nakamura is keeping the position.
Benn advances to half guard.
Nakamura knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Benn on the ground.
Benn tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Nakamura.
Nakamura is trying to control but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ryu Nakamura will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Nakamura clinches but Benn breaks the clinch
and Benn moves into the clinch.
Nakamura breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Benn tries to clinch up but Nakamura circles away and keeps his distance.
Benn blocks a head kick by Nakamura.
Nakamura swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Benn counters with a nice uppercut.
Nakamura misses with a combination
and Benn counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Nakamura wants to get back to full guard.
Benn in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Nakamura tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Benn!
