The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei lands a nice leg kick that just misses Papageorgio's sensitive parts.
Nick Papageorgio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lei gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Papageorgio to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Papageorgio loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Lei really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Papageorgio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lei wants to stand and escape but Papageorgio is having none of it.

Lei lands a big head kick that sends Papageorgio tumbling to the mat! Lei takes a step backwards and waves Papageorgio back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Lei throws a shot to the body.
Oh Papageorgio is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lei lands a nice looking kick to the body. Papageorgio takes a step back to recover.
Papageorgio seems to have got his legs back now.
Lei feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Papageorgio's calf.
Lei lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Papageorgio crumples to the floor! Lei milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
