Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cowboy Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sanchez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Naughty By Nature - O.P.P.. Cowboy Sanchez has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Cowboy Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Oliver! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oliver displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sanchez. Oliver tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sanchez paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sanchez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Oliver throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sanchez. Oliver closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Sanchez pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Sanchez fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cowboy Sanchez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oliver breaks the clinch.
Oliver fails with the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Sanchez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Oliver fails to land the takedown. Sanchez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanchez preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oliver keeping moving, preventing Sanchez from controlling successfully. Oliver wants to get back to his feet but Sanchez is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Oliver is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Oliver wants to stand and escape but Sanchez is having none of it. Sanchez stands and throws Oliver's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sanchez landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Sanchez throws a strike aimed at the side of Oliver's head but Oliver avoids it well. Sanchez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Oliver has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez wants to control but Oliver is keeping him busy. Oliver tries to bench press Sanchez off him but Sanchez keeps the position. Oliver really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanchez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Oliver is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sanchez throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Sanchez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Sanchez is breathing heavily. Oliver can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez decides to stand up, so the ref orders Oliver to his feet. Oliver darts in trying to clinch and Sanchez counters with a takedown into side control. Oliver is trying to get back to half guard. Oliver managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Sanchez.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanchez is looking to take a break and control but Oliver is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Oliver is trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A control attempt from Oliver but he's now mounted! Oliver tries to improve his position but instead Sanchez has taken his back! Sanchez landing with strikes. Sanchez has the hooks in. Oliver is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Sanchez lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Oliver hold on?!
Oliver wants to escape the position.
Sanchez is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sanchez is not going to allow Oliver to sit and survive in this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cowboy Sanchez dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sanchez fails in his attempt to clinch. Sanchez scores with a takedown into Oliver's guard. Oliver looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sanchez is one step ahead there. Oliver not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Oliver is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sanchez drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Oliver dives on top into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sanchez preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Oliver sitting in guard here, content to control. Sanchez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Oliver trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Oliver works over Sanchez with some ground and pound from guard. Cowboy Sanchez overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sanchez avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Oliver scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Oliver trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sanchez's guard. Oliver must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sanchez has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Oliver should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Sanchez has tightened it up now! Oliver should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
