Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Robin Berglund!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Miller!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Miller.
Berglund shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Good leg kick by Miller there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Miller lets loose with a powerful body kick. Berglund will feel that in the morning.
Miller thuds his right hand into Berglund's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Miller connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Berglund momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Berglund fails with an attempt to clinch.
Miller lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Berglund with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Miller to score with a decent uppercut.
Berglund is rocked!
No joy there for Miller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Miller.
Berglund is breathing heavily.
Miller throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Berglund stumbling backwards into the cage! Berglund bounces back off the cage towards Miller, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Miller lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Miller celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chris Miller!
