Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bada Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bob Jay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bada Boom! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jay fails in his attempt to clinch. Jay looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Bob Jay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jay tries to close the distance and clinch but Boom swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Boom throws a looping overhand right but Jay ducks down to avoid it. Jay fails to land the takedown. Boom takes a swing at Jay's ribcage but misses. Jay fails in his attempt to clinch. Jay fails with an attempt to clinch.
Boom works the jab nicely. Jay tries to clinch up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Boom misses with a straight left. Jay changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boom looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jay goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Boom has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jay but great work by Boom. Jay manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Boom is trying to control. Jay wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jay is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Boom pulls his head out easily. Jay might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jay is trying to get back to full guard. Jay makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jay. Jay is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Boom stands and steps away. Jay gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jay shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Jay fails in his attempt to clinch. Jay tries to clinch up. Nice shot by Boom. Boom lunges at Jay with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jay's hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jay takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jay tries to clinch there but Boom circles away.
Boom smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Good shot there by Boom. Boom keeps the fight on the outside. Boom ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Boom connects with the punch. Boom has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Boom throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Boom misses with a looping left. Jay misses with a series of wild punches.

Boom circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boom might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jay tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boom swats him away and circles back towards the center. Boom is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jay. Boom swats away the attempt to clinch by Jay. Jay closes the distance and pushes Boom back into the cage. Jay tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A short left from Jay. Boom tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Boom tries to pull guard but Jay holds him up against the cage and eventually Boom drops back down to his feet.
Jay tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Jay stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Jay is working Boom over against the cage. Jay stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Jay tries to land a knee to the head but Boom blocks with his arms.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jay. Jay misses with a hook to the ribs.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Boom. Boom blocks a body shot from Jay.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boom drags the fight down to the ground.
Boom wants to sweep here but Jay controlling him for the moment. Jay has gone for a leg lock! Boom slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jay's guard. Boom missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jay working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boom doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boom manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boom can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Boom wants to control from the top but Jay keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bob Jay will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Jay closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Boom to the mat! Boom manages to get full guard. Jay trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jay trying to control but Boom is working from the bottom. Jay looking to sit in guard and control but Boom gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Boom distracts Jay with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Boom missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Boom pushes down on Jay's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jay taking some punishment here, with Boom in his half guard. Jay manages to escape and get back to his feet! Boom takes a swing at Jay's ribcage but misses. Boom throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jay tries to clinch but Boom moves out of range. Good exchange - Boom coming out on top. Boom keeps the fight on the outside. Boom uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jay.
Boom is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Jay misses with a combination
and Boom counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Jay fails with an attempt to clinch.
Boom with a lazy takedown attempt and Jay connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Boom tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jay was well out of range. Poor timing from Boom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jay misses with a jab to the body
and Jay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jay wants to clinch and Boom cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Boom circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Jay counters with a takedown into side control. Jay has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. A combination from Boom does no damage. Jay misses the shot to the body. Boom throws a jab but it's blocked by Jay. Jay has Boom up against the cage in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Boom is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jay gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jay lands on the inside with an uppercut. Boom prevents a body shot from Jay. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Jay tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Jay goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Jay throws a knee to the head but misses.
Boom is trying to drag Jay to the mat but Jay just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Bob Jay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bada Boom. Boom jumps guard but Jay stands there with Boom around his waist. Boom gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Boom tries to score a body lock takedown but Jay shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jay swings wildly with an uppercut but Boom uses good head movement to avoid it. Boom tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jay smiles and moves away.
Bob Jay is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Boom stuns Jay with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Boom swats away the attempt to clinch by Jay.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jay feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Boom swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jay has gone for a leg lock! Boom slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jay's guard. Boom with a flurry of punches that miss. Jay has an active guard here but Boom has managed to pass into half guard.
Jay looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jay is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Jay dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Boom lands with a nice combination. Jay backs away looking to recover. The fight stays on the outside here - Jay looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jay falls off balance throwing a combination

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jay tries to clinch up but Boom circles away and keeps his distance. Boom throws an overhand right that lands on Jay's shoulder, as Jay tries to avoid the shot. Boom throws a series of punches but Jay avoids them all with ease. Boom fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's one minute gone in the round. Boom throws a hook to the side of Jay's head but Jay sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jay tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boom paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jay looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Boom looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jay is working for a submission of some sort.
Jay is thwarting Boom's attempts to control the position. Jay is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bada Boom has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bob Jay is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jay is trying to control the action in half guard but Boom is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Boom tries to get to full guard but Jay has control of the leg. Still in half guard, Jay seems content to control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jay tries to clinch but fails miserably and Boom counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jay scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boom works Jay's body with a nice hook. Good shot there by Boom. Boom bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Jay tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Boom counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jay's guard now. Boom wants to pass the guard but Jay is keeping the position. Jay is trying to keep Boom in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boom wants to control from the top but Jay keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jay controls Boom momentarily but Boom frees himself. Jay looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Boom trying to control but Jay is working from the bottom. Boom lands a couple of elbows. Boom stopping the sweep attempt from Jay.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Boom looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Boom working Jay over with strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Bada Boom comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jay has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
