Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Victor Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins has chosen The Prodigy-Out Of Space as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jenkins but Jenkins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Penn tries to close the distance and clinch but Jenkins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Penn goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jenkins rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Penn's guard! Nice work there by Jenkins!

Jenkins decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Penn moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Penn throws a series of strikes that have Jenkins backpedaling.

and Jenkins moves into the clinch.

Jenkins has Penn pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Jenkins pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Penn tumbling to the mat - Jenkins dives into Penn's guard.
Penn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jenkins is controlling him.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Jenkins counters with a shoot takedown. Penn fights it but they end up in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
