Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Todo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chuck Liddel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Todo! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Todo keeps the fight on the outside. Liddel rushes Todo and presses him up against the cage. Todo managing to block the knees to the body from Liddel.
Liddel fails to pull guard.
Liddel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Liddel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jab by Liddel. Todo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Todo showed some decent athleticism there. Liddel wants to control but Todo is keeping busy and won't allow it. Todo wants to take a breather but Liddel is having none of it. Todo prevents Liddel from improving his position. Liddel trying to hold on to Todo's head to control him but Todo postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddel strikes from the bottom but Todo uses the opportunity to move to side control.
You can see the frustration on Liddel's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Liddel is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Liddel trying to control but Todo postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Todo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Liddel! Liddel tries to improve his position but instead Todo has taken his back! Todo is persistently looking for the submission but Liddel is defending it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Liddel wants to control his opponent's hands but Todo gets his hands free. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Todo has the hooks in. Liddel is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Todo is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Liddel is defending well though. Todo let's go of the attempt for now. I really don't envy Liddel right now.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Todo's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Liddel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Todo looks gassed! Todo keeps control of the position as Liddel tries to break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Todo not allowing Liddel to control his hands. Todo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Liddel turns into Todo and is now in his guard.
Todo seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Liddel misses with a wild combination.
Liddel closes the distance and clinches. Todo stalling in the clinch but Liddel improves position. Liddel avoiding damage as Todo throws knees to the body.
Liddel jumps guard but Todo stands there with Liddel around his waist. Liddel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Liddel is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Todo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Liddel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Todo just leaning against Liddel, taking a breather. Liddel managing to block the knees to the body from Todo.
Liddel tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Liddel moves into the clinch. Liddel is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Todo stalling against the cage.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Liddel stuffs the takedown. Chuck Liddel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Liddel shoots and misses and Todo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Liddel is trying to maintain the position but Todo is very close to passing his half guard. Liddel is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Todo dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Liddel looks to clinch and Todo counters with a single leg into guard. Liddel didn't expect that. Liddel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Todo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Todo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Todo content to stall in guard here. Liddel is trying to keep Todo in close.
Liddel has Todo pulled in close to control his posture. Liddel keeping moving, preventing Todo from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddel looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Liddel being controlled here, momentarily. Liddel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Todo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Liddel looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Todo passes into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Todo slows the pace down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Liddel is trying to improve his position. Liddel trying to remain calm as Todo controls from the top position. Liddel wants to control but Todo postures up. Liddel trying his best to control but Todo has mounted him. Todo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Todo manages to capitalize on a mistake by Liddel to take his back! Todo tries to get the hooks in deep but Liddel pushed the leg off.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jack Todo just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Liddel misses with a double jab.
Liddel doesn't succeed with the takedown and Todo counters with a nice double leg into guard. Liddel being controlled here, momentarily. Liddel working from the bottom, still in full guard. Jack Todo has got the better of the ground game so far. Liddel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Todo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Liddel lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Todo! Liddel looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Liddel avoids the attempt from Todo to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Todo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Liddel shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Liddel was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Liddel swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Todo is now in Liddel's guard. A big mistake from Liddel there, giving up the dominant position! Liddel wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Liddel can't keep his opponent in guard - Todo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Liddel actively working from the bottom here. Todo thows a huge punch but Liddel dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Todo wants to pass the guard but Liddel is defending well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Liddel is refusing to be controlled, as Todo sits in half guard. Todo is thwarting Liddel's attempts to control the position. Todo passes into side control, despite Liddel's attempt to control the position.
Todo is looking to take a break and control but Liddel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Liddel tries to bench press Todo off him but Todo keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Todo misses with a takedown attempt - Liddel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Liddel scores with a takedown into Todo's guard. Liddel wants to pass the guard but Todo is keeping the position. Liddel wants to control from the top but Todo keeps moving. Liddel content to stall in guard here. Liddel in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Todo keeping full guard, as Liddel tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liddel seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Liddel with a nice head shot there. Liddel tries to free his leg and advance position but Todo is retaining full guard. Liddel sitting in guard, not really doing much. Liddel throwing strikes but missing. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Todo has eaten all the pies! Todo is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Todo has his hands on Liddel's head, controlling the position. Liddel looking to sit in guard and control but Todo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Liddel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Liddel wants to sweep here but Todo controlling him for the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Todo looking to sit in guard and control but Liddel gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck Liddel showed his dominance in that final round. I think Todo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
